I guess I`d like to think of myself as a fairly dynamic personality, often interested in absorbing new knowledge and ways of thinking. I`ve been involved in the creative industries for some time now and that rubs off me a bit. Open-minded, relaxed.. with tendancys to party hard when the occasion calls for it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Offering my couch, using others and meeting new folk inbetween. I`ve also donated to the project.

(currently no couch available, as I'm dossing with my girlfriend while I search for somewhere else)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far.. everyone I`ve couch surfed with has been either a direct contact or a friend of a friend.. So I'm hoping to branch out a bit here. Of course it would be great if all you people who have stayed on my couch in the past would gimme some references!!

Hi-tech art and design stuff mostly, plus architecture, film. I read alot, fact and fiction. Music is quite a large part of my life too. Currently I`m looking into interactive environments and generative art.

音乐、电影和书籍

Books:Just finished another Ian Banks.. he's a goodie. But I`ll need to come back to fill this up. Shantaram was my favorite from last year.
Film:Anything from Micheal Gondry, Emir Kusturica.. love the humour, love the music, lots of old classics, Hitchcock and the like, LOTR.. well I gotta don`t i, Kung Fu flicks and B-grade laughable stuff, Decent nature docu`s, Lars von trier and other things that get under your skin.. `As It Is in Heaven` touched me recently.
Music:Phew.. I think I`ll just list genres. Dub, Dubstep, Reggae, Soul, Drum n Bass, Minimal, Indie rock, Electro, conscious HipHop, Blues, Country, Rock, Balkan... anything but what the crap radio plays basically.

I met the Dali Lama once when i was 19.. he was amused by the goatee I had at the time and stopped and asked `may i touch?` .. I guess I didn`t actually `Do` anything per se.. but it left me sorta stunned.

Need creative software help..? I might be able to lend you my knowledge there. If I get some warning, I can always bring along a CD-R of mp3 for your collection too.
