Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to connect with people from different places and cultures.

I've mainly hosted travellers and some layovers too. I appreciate honesty and clarity in messaging.

I haven't hosted a lot in a while. Haven't been on here that much after the changes on the site management and resulting culture change. I find the copy paste messages and random friend request strange. I'm still open to connecting with people who really want to meet and connect.

I had my first CS experience in Barcelona 2006 and it was great. I stayed three nights with a CS couple and the rest of the trip with random locals. It was a busy city to get CS contacts online, but once I got there the people were really nice.
