About Me
CURRENT MISSION
seeing an aurora and runestones, find my place in the world
ABOUT ME
I'm friendly, creative and optimistic. I'm also rather calm and quiet most of the time, not the partying-till-dawn-type (or at least not too often), but i like spending my free time actively and I'm always up for a good conversation with interesting people:)
PHILOSOPHY
I usually don't make plans, just wait and see what happens, then try to adapt to the situations. That's why I try to be prepared for anything from the best to the worst case scenarios. I try to find something good in every situation (however I consider the "could have been worse"-argument invalid most of the time).
Others will treat you the same way you treat them (or not, but that's no reason to treat them badly saying "they started it")
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I hosted and surfed as well
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I tried both surfing and hosting and I can only say the best about CS, I had very positive experiences with my hosts, guests and other people I met through CS
Interests
Music is an important part of my life, I'm always either listening to it or making it (I play the guitar). Anything done with friends is fun, for me the company is usually more important than what we're actually doing.
I'm mostly interested in languages and linguistics, but I'm open to almost any other kind of subject (and I can be a good listener too if needed:))
I also like riding my bike, taking long walks in the nature and reading (my favourites are fantasy, sci-fi and history related stories)

Music, Movies, and Books
Tolkien's works, Tim Severin: Viking series, Bernard Cornwell: The Saxon Stories, Arthur C. Clarke's books, Jules Verne: The Mysterious Island, (almost) everything related to Star Wars, Sapkowski: The Witcher books
and I grew up on TMNT:)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I'm sure seeing a sea in real for the first time usually wouldn't be considered amazing, but the biggest water we have is a lake where I live, so seeing that so big mass of water that i can't see the other side was pretty amazing for me:)
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm happy to learn everything, not necessarily because of the subject, but because of the person teaching it. I like to learn new things and I share gladly anything I know, that includes playing the guitar, some basic origami, or any languages i speak
