ABOUT ME

I'm nearly thirty, and starting to wear at the seams a little. I've studied philosophy till my brain hurt, now I just want to play music.
I spent the last three years working in a music shop, selling guitars, realised I didn't enjoy it that much and decided to sell everything and go and see the world.

PHILOSOPHY

Too vague and ill-defined to be worth writing about. Ask me again in ten years.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is the best. I love all kinds, but my favourite is jazz music. I also love classical, weird German bands from the sixties and seventies (Can, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream, Harmonium, etc.), sixties pop and rock, blues (esp. early acoustic blues), French impressionism... Anything really, so long as it has a good structure, and expresses something.

When it comes to reading I will read anything as long as it's well written. I love reading books that make me change my opinion about something. I like reading poetry, history, philosophy, fiction, journalism - anything really.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach the basics of the guitar. I love languages, so I'm very interested to learn, and I can teach English to anyone who wants to learn. There's probably other things I can teach that I've forgotten.
