Heading from Guatemala to Peru (or beyond) in a '78 Toyota Corolla!

ABOUT ME

I am a conservationist and soil scientist by training and photographer and videographer by passion. I have a keen interest in environmental sustainability and the part food production plays in this.
This strange mix of interests and passions has seen me creating images for commercial clients, shooting a nude calendar to raise funds for Bangor’s botanic gardens, shooting a bunch of UK festivals and analyzing thousands of soil samples and running a community cafe.

Most recently, my passions took me to Guatemala to capture images, create videos and test soil for Semilla Nueva, a sustainable agriculture NGO. You can check out some of my work about their work here, here and here.

Working with Semilla Nueva has given me a glimpse of some of the issues that are felt by small-scale farmers in Guatemala and no doubt echoed around the world.
