About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I have one month abroad before I am expected to calm myself down and get a job. So right now I have a large current mission: Travel where I can, meet everyone in the process, and see how the world works outside my corner. Oh, and have one hell of a time!
ABOUT ME
I've been having trouble typing this for at least 15 minutes, so I'm going to try something different:
*I love music, movies, and comic books
*I am a photographer who likes to consider his "eye" unique, but then again, who doesn't, right?
*I can play two instruments- the electric bass and marching drums
*I will be moving to Los Angeles, CA to help my brother expand his new business endeavor, a web-comic called "Abducted" (which is hilariously good stuff, by the way)
*Upon moving to California, I will be adopting my very first cat
*I LOVE exploring life, especially foreign life and experiencing first hand the differences
*I hate flying because of crying babies, but free on-board movies make up for it
*I WILL drink you under the table (actually, probably not, but I like to think so)
*Unless it's crawling around on my plate, I will probably try anything.
*I truly have a unique way of "getting people", in turn, getting to know people very easily
All in all, this was long and very robotic, but I am a very optimistic and very good-natured guy. I like to think my optimism fuels my incredibly fantastic sense of humor. If you have something to say, I'll listen; if if you have something fun to do, I'll do it; If you have a couch, I'd love to hang out and share the intimacies of my geekiness and fun-loving nature!
PHILOSOPHY
I want my life to be one my grandkids want to hear over and over, and use to inspire their own adventures that will hopefully be bigger and better; I don't plan on living haphazardly and neither should you!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now, I'm using the CS project to crash on couches while on my dream trip around Northern Europe. I would like to host, but as soon as I move to California I'll be living with my brother and he's not as open as I am; however, when I move elsewhere, I'd be more than open to returning the favor!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I haven't had any yet- whose ready to help me change that?!
Interests
movies (popular and b-rate-never-seen-a-theater films), music (playing and listening), comic books, video games, living life to the fullest, camping, snowboarding, social drinking, learning new things (right now, I'm teaching myself sign language), reading books that are both interesting and somewhat thought provoking

Music, Movies, and Books
oh man...this would be a long list, but I don't feel like writing it all down, sooooo it's time for another bullet list!
Movies favorites:
*Braveheart, Lethal Weapon Series, and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
Music favorites:
*Dave Matthews Band, Devil Wears Prada, and Say Anything
Book favorites:
*economic books (from school and historical accounts), Robin Hood, Dean Koontz books, and comics
I tried giving favorites from across the board, but I really, REALLY encourage you to just ask! If I haven't seen/heard/read it, it might be next on my list of things to experience!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think the most amazing thing I have done thus far is (a) stayed alive through various childhood accidents, and (b) followed through with my trip to Northern Europe (which I am currently doing right now). It's been a dream to visit Norway for years and I had a window of opportunity and there was no way in hell I was going to let it slip by!
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn new languages and ways to communicate globally and to develop a drinking song for the states besides "99 bottles of beer on the wall" (which sucks, by the way)
I can teach you how to crochet, make duct tape wallets, and how to think creatively about photography. I can't really think of anything else at the moment, but I'm sure there are other things I'm useful for!
