About Me

ABOUT ME

I like chaos better than order and creativity better than immobilism. I prefer to move around by bike or skate if I can, driving a car can bring out the worst in me sometimes, but I think I'm a sensible driver. I love sunny days anytime, they make me glad. The collages all around the walls in my place are one of my treasures. I'm able to turn one foot backwards, it's a great trick when you're dancing. I hate TV, there's so much rubbish in it and I can find the interesting series in the Internet. I often feel so lazy to shave my beard, especially in studying time. I am a huge Turtle lover, they are my passion into the animal world. I hate boredom and don't like people who refuse to think about their environment and live like puppets. If there's something that really turns me on it is live music.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live for today without losing sight on the surrounding events. When a spring activates into my head I like to follow it and fight boredom.
I consider myself at very different levels an antifascist, gay-friendly, antiracist, eco-concerned, open-minded, anticapitalist, culture-loving, anarchist person, in spite of my numerous imperfections and personal contradictions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't surfed a lot of couches. Anyway had great experiences with people visting Bilbao and writing me to hang out, it's been really nice to meet all of them.

Interests

I am interested in many things including different types of tea and infusions, passionate activist protests, Dead Kennedys vinyls, flannel shirts, funny and geek internet jokes, anything concerning audiovisual language and anybody's point of view about living.

Music, Movies, and Books

Culture is my food.

I especially love Blade Runner, Brazil, A Clockwork Orange, Dead Poet's Society, Fight Club, Requiem for a dream, Pulp Fiction, most of the work of Tarantino, Gilliam, Kubrick, Chaplin, Fincher, Ritchie, Hitchcock, Nolan and many other geniouses in past and present filming history.
Talking about TV series I think actually The Big Bang Theory is the best sitcom of all time and I'm totally into How I met your mother, House, Modern Family, Sons of Anarchy, Entourage and loving The Sopranos. Previously I enjoyed Heroes (not the last seasons), Lost and Battlestar Galactica.

I am a huge music lover and I'm totally into punk and hardcore: from The Ramones to Refused passin through The Offspring, Anti-Flag, Minor Threat, Black Flag, The Clash, Rancid and many more. At the moment I am really fascinated by the so-called Orgcore, especially Shook Ones, None More Black, Captain We're Sinking, The Menzingers, Iron Chic, RVIVR, Mixtapes, Dear Landlord, Dead to me, The Flatliners, etc.
I also enjoy deeply anything related to Rock, Folk, Country, Celtic music, Blues and other genres. It would be impossible to make a complete list.

I couldn't live without reading books, I especially enjoy distopic science-fiction and I'm in love with classics like 1984, Neuromancer, Fahrenheit 451, The man in the high castle, Do androids dream of electric sheep, and also classic science fiction as The Fly and last but not least everything that Isaac Asimov ever wrote (and it was a huge lot).
I am addicted to Palahniuk at the moment and I've enjoyed Fight Club, Choke and Rant particularly. I'm also into Breat Easton Ellis novels.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am really awful teaching anything, sometimes it is hard for me to explain how I understand things, but I am totally open for anyone who's got a curious mind and is up to anything that breaks the barriers of conventionality.
In opposition to my lack of teaching talent, I think I'm quite good learning and I am always open for it.
Sharing is everything in this topic.
