I am trying to show people the town and region I live in, give them advice about possible trips and places of interest nearby and not so nearby, have chats and help spend time if I am free. Simply, I will try to make myself useful and fun.

I love reading Paul Auster and Philip Roth, E. E. Cummings' art is the love of my life, I have read quite a lot of Peter Ackroyd too. My favorite Hungarian author is Istvan Orkeny, and my favorite Czech one is Vladimir Paral.

In terms ofmore "popular" music I love Depeche Mode, Kraftwerk, Deep Purple, Army of Lovers, Atomtorta, Kate Nash and Missy Higgins, and in terms of more world music Cesaria Evora, Csik zenekar, Ghymes and Besh o Drom, and my favorit violinist is David Oistrakh.

I love movies, some of the favorites: Kontroll, Bad Boy Bubby, Alexandra's Project, Equilibrium, Interstate 60, Local Hero, Night on Earth, Psycho, Vertigo, Love Actually...

I can teach you cooking some traditional Hungarian dishes, the basics of Hungarian or Czech, and can have long philosophical, political or literary debates if you are the kind. If not, we can talk about planes, buses, trams, trains or cars. Or women... :-D
