About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Seeking strength in body and mind

ABOUT ME

I'm an extroverted, social kind of person but I am entirely comfortable alone too, which has been a boon whilst travelling.

I like books and music and dancing. I love the beach. Meeting new people never gets old either.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When I lived in North Melbourne I used to host fairly regularly, and met a great bunch of people that way. In Brunswick hosting happened less often, due to houesemates not so amenable to the idea, but we had a few guests.

I have been to the odd meetup, but am not greatly invlved in the Melbourne CS community.

Now I am on the roadmyself, and participate mainly by surfing other people's couches, meeting up with them and going to the odd CS event. I have been impressed bythe generosity and kindness of al the CSers I've met on my travels.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Looked down on a seeming ocean of clouds lit up by a full moon as I climbed mount Fuji.

Danced in the Australian outback as the moon completely eclipsed the sun for an all-too brief minute.

Played in the Bloco da Capoeira at Salvador Carnaval.

Scaled the icy summit of Huayna Potosi to 6088m, in Bolivia.

Stood at the edge of the most powerful waterfalls in the world in Foz de Iguazu.
