ABOUT ME

I am very laid back & outgoing. I have a passion for travel, & have been very fortunate to have had the opportunity to explore some pretty amazing & off the grid locations. I love the outdoors & therefore any activity that involves being outside -- scuba diving, hiking, climbing, camping, running, tennis, swimming, etc. I am also very into yoga & traveled to India to get my yoga teacher certification as well as travel around the country.
I'm from the Chicagoland area but have spent 3.5 years in Denver, CO followed by 3.5 years in the big apple NYC. Right now, I am looking for the next city I want to live in, which why I may be visiting you :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I am interviewing for job & have my belongings stored at my parent's place until I decide where I want to live. But once I move somewhere & get settled in, I would love to host fellow travelers that are passing through town.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far, but I have numerous friends who have couch surfed as well as who have hosted, and they all only have positive things to say about their experiences.

I like books that are more factual & education, such as memoirs, medical & science; I am a fan of Michael Crichton. Country, Rock/pop, Works with Friends
I'm not much of a movie or TV person. I would rather be out doing stuff than tied to my TV. However, DVRs have made that much easier to do both. I don't like rewatching movies, because there are som many movies that I still haven't seen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tough Choice... Climbed Kilimanjaro & camped around Africa for 1.5 months. It was an amazing & enlightening experience!
