I've studied mathematics, management & I work as a web developer (React).

2020 update:
I'm on Couchsurfing because it used to be a very cool non-commercial community and I'm hoping the true spirit still lives in some of the people around here!
I'm sorry to see that a voluntary community has turned into something commercial and people need to pay even in order to access their profile and read their messages.
This is killing a great community that took years to build. I hope they rethink about this soon and change it. There are ways to monetize apps without charging the user, facebook, instagram and many other apps have done it: It's advertising and optionally pay a premium for removing ads. There are other ways, so my feeling is it's being done on purpose :'(

I've seen alarming dystopias from George Orwell, William Gibson and Aldous Huxley, lived in amazing universes by Tolkien, J.K. Rowling, Phillip Pullman, and had interesting interactions with Anatole France, Mikhail Bulgakov, Bukowski, Burroughs, and the so cute Momo by Michael Ende.

I also wish I read more comix but some highlights would be 'Death' by Neil Gaiman and 'Logicomix', a comic about Math, Logic and a strange Love!
