Finally back on the road after three years of being stuck in Australia due to covid border closures. Excited to be exploring the world and meeting interesting people once again!

ABOUT ME

More than anything, I love animals and our natural world. As often as possible I'm out hiking or camping somewhere.

As much as I love nature and as much as I feel more and more disenfranchised with society as a whole the more time that I spend in the wilderness, I do still have a deep love for interesting cities. Cities with socially and environmentally conscious people. Creative and diverse cities. Cities with a story to tell.

From so many years of travelling alone I am very comfortable in solitude and possibly even more so than in company. Big social situations no longer bring me a great deal of joy, mainly just anxiety. Depending on my mood however I can still enjoy a big party or celebration if the vibe is right. Mostly though, I prefer connecting more intimately with a select few individuals and giving them all my energy as opposed to trying to spread it out among many.

As I live in share accomodation when I'm home in Melbourne, I'm very rarely able to host but I do so when I can. Otherwise, I just try to be as good a guest as I can be when I'm abroad and hope that I'm able to bring a lot of positivity into the homes I stay and am able to share my many experiences and insights from such a long time on the road
