An avid traveller, I like all forms of travel. Be it short trips in my own country or longish, transcontinental ones, be it rural landscapes or urban cityscapes, road trips, train trips or air travel, I am passionate about them all. Most important for me is to discover new places, new cultures and connect with new people.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on couchsurfing because I love to travel. And when I travel, apart from visiting the famous monuments and museums, I would like to discover that little café which is someone's favourite or that park which doesn't appear on the travel guides. In short, I like to discover new cultures and places through locals. I also like to meet up with people who share the same interests as me. And couchsurfing is the best and the safest way to do so.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

There are a lot of amazing things I have seen so it's difficult to choose. As for the amazing things I have done, I would like to add the plunge I did in freezing cold water on my way back from Antarctica.
