CURRENT MISSION
Make time to enjoy life
ABOUT ME
I think I'm funny and I'm definitely the kind of person who has a million stories. I live my life like an open book. I'm open for anyone to read and, for that matter, for anyone who wants to write something in the margins.
PHILOSOPHY
"If the tides of life turn against you,
And the Waves upset your boat,
Don't shed tears on what might have been,
Just lay on your back and float." - Ed Norton, The Honeymooners
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I routinely open my house to friends and random acquaintances to stay, so I figured why not fellow travellers. Anything I can do to make Los Angeles easier to understand and navigate. I love travelling, but I love my city.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My first experience was getting dinner and drinks with the wonderful people of the Torino group. I've been hooked ever since.
I've hosted quite a few people. Sometime work gets in the way and I end up just being able to hand my guests a bus map and sometimes work allows me to take them to the Grammys. It's kind of hit or miss.
I've stayed with CSers Adam in Sydney, Kim in San Fran and Gabriel in Argentina.
Interests
Travelling is definitely an interest. I generally like to go places and either do something adventurous in nature (scuba dive!) or immerse myself in art museums, wine and food. Lots of wine and food!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a movie fanatic. My top 5 of all time are: It's a Wonderful Life, Star Wars, Dr. Strangelove, Jaws, The Shawshank Redemption
I have very eclectic taste in music, but if I was stranded on a desert island, I would need KISS "Alive I", Metallica "Master of Puppets," Pearl Jam "Ten," Peter Gabriel "Passion: The Soundtrack from the Last Temptation of Christ," and a bootleg cd of a concert Fatboy Slim did in 1999.
I always seem to be reading 4 or 5 books at a time, but never finishing them - some of my faves are - About a Boy by Nick Hornby, The Prince of Tides by Pat Conroy, Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett, Batman: Year One by Frank Miller, The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis, Leo the Lop, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Different Seasons by Stephen King, In God We Trust: All Others Pay Cash, Fast Food Nation,
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've had some experiences when I was younger that have forced me to "Live Everyday." So most days are some sort of amazing adventure for me. I understand that what I do for a living is a fantasy for most people and I never let myself forget that.
