ABOUT ME

I love meeting people and hearing their stories. I just want to see what's happening. I am fun and thoughtful and I love to have a good time and experience other cultures. Learning about other people's ways of life helps me in turn learn about my own. That's why I am so excited to begin Couch Surfing!

PHILOSOPHY

See new things and show new things to others. The best way to learn is to step outside your comfort zone and observe and participate.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am new to CS, but I am traveling now, and I can't wait to see what The Project is all about. All my life my family has taken in people to "surf" on our couch while they were getting situated in the United States. Now that I have my own place I plan on doing the same!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far... but much to come.

Interests

music, conversation, good beer, cultural differences, language, freedom. I like running, walking, and otherwise being active. I appreciate a night in with a movie and good company as much as I like a night out. I'm a little bit artsy and little bit bluesy and appreciate the expanse of both.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music! Lots of different genres, especially independently produced music coming from the big cities in the US, the UK, & Sweden. I am open to anything and love live shows.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Held an entire conversation with a man in Nanyuki, Kenya passing back and forth a phrase book. Both of us were laughing the entire time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: English, psychology, biology. How to ride a bicycle, change a flat tire, or play a guitar chord. A bit about wine and beer. A few card games.
Learn: More about language! I love learning anything I can from anyone's areas of expertise. Architecture, history, pop culture, specific skills, trivia, new sports. If it pops into your head, tell me about it!
Share: Sense of humor!
