About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Travel enough to fend off feelings of stagnation and settling and depression. It's my medication :)
Learn Spanish and visit most of the Americas.
ABOUT ME
I love community, traveling, obscure novels, growing in my faith with Jesus, snorkeling, meditating, asking questions and learning from others, exploring new places, adventuring on my own.
I work with the most oppressed, vulnerable, amazing students in the city. It is life giving and growing every moment. I strive to become better each day for them. That said, often I'm exhausted from teaching or have a lot of work to do, so I may need to unwind in silence and with a movie or a book.
PHILOSOPHY
If you want something in life, reach out and grab it. Judge not, lest you be judged. Love greatly.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love traveling, meeting new people, the anticipation of being in a new place.
In 2010, I traveled down the California coast by car, stayed with couchsurfers along the way, and slept on the beach with hitchhikers and fellow couchsurfers. It was a memorable experience. I could still call up those people who I met along the way, and they would welcome me back into their life.
