ABOUT ME

I am a VISIONARY with an untamed IMAGINATION.

I'm currently an unemployed Early Childhood Educator seeking purposeful work. So, intuition is leading my nine month old son and I to New Orleans to volunteer and spread love and healing energy throughout the Lower Ninth Ward and Treme. However, I am looking for minor work to maintain income as well.

PHILOSOPHY

We are spiritual beings having a human(physical) experience... Love is the essence of our existence... Equally embrace the positive and the negative, you can't have one without the other.

So far I have had only one CouchSurfing experience and it was awesome. That sole experience has completely altered the way I travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Octavia Butler has written novels about my human purpose, "Parable of the Sower" and "Wildseed." Nina Simone has sung songs about my soul's journey, "West Wind" and "Everything Must Change."

I also like to read anything relating to science (ie. metaphysics,astronomy,genetics).

Music fuels me. I listen to just about anything with a soulful rhythmic pattern.

Currently, my favorite band is "Little Dragon"

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever done was labor and birth my son for over fifteen hours. With minimal intervention and no, I mean No medication whatsoever! All while my partner, mother and midwife coached me through and Alice Coltrane's "Prema" and lavender oil permeated the birthing room. LIFE!
