ABOUT ME

I am independent, and creative. I am a hairstylist and very passionate about continuing to learn about my industry, and all other things life has to offer. I enjoy writing, music,all kinds of art,taking photos, sharing ideas with others, listening to peoples stories, riding bike, hula hoops,nature,dance parties, laughing-a lot of laughing, reading,exploring, discovering new perspectives.
I have spent most of my life in the Pacific Northwest, and it is beautiful but traveling is important and meeting new faces, learning about new customs, and getting out of familiar surroundings is a sure way to grow! I have had the best time traveling!

UPDATE- I left my conventional lifestyle in Portland Oregon, in late 2014... since, I've been fortunate to work on the go, spending time moving and working between cities in the US, Mexico andCentral America - I would like to head south some more! I forgot to use Couchsurfing for awhile but I would like to make good use of the amazing network that it is! Currently in Mexico- looking to be in nature, around art( all types- I love to paint and collage)- I enjoy live music, and writing- and FOOD and learning about people's stories!

Soy estilista, y me encanta mi oficio! Soy creativa, e independiente... Me gusta hacer collage, tomar fotos, bailar y meterme a nadar en el mar. Intente el surf el año pasado en Puerto Escondido, y me encanto... Me gustaría seguir probando. Soy alegre y me gusta reír (como a todos no?).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a couch surfer and a roommate in a house of many people, I contribute a friendly and positive presence. I keep things clean, and pick up after myself without being asked to. I can cook, help with general cooking/cleaning/organizing. I contribute haircuts/hairstyles for trade/donations. I am not too picky about a place to sleep as long as it is safe, respect is mutual, and can borrow a clean blanket to stay warm with. :)

Tengo carpa y bolsa de campaña, cualquier lugar que sea seguro... Y donde haga respeto mutual es suficiente! Me usté cocinar, y soy respetuosa en el espacio de los demás.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE.

October 2014, was the last time I had a place of my own... I have not always used couch surfing but I have definitely used my resources and crashed on couches/in hostels, on the beach... I have never ran into conflict- I like to communicate about my stay and contribute with cooking/cleaning wherever I stay. I believe knowing how long of a stay is appropriate goes a long way.... Communication is key, and respecting the space you occupy as well. My "couch surfing" experiences have all been exciting, and I like to learn about the people I stay with.

Tengo desde Octubre 2014 sin in hogar fijo, y nunca se me ha complicado el quedarme en casa ajena;con amigos, con extraños que se convierten amistades, en la playa, hostels... La comunicación es muy importante, y saber el tiempo apropiado de una estancia. Respeto el espacio que ocupó y conturbó con la limpieza y cualquier otra cosa que se ofrezca. Viajar tanto me ayudado bastante en ser buena couch surfer. (Traveling so much has helped me become a good couch surfer!)

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach- braiding, Spanish, English, how to say "im hungry" in French, random knowledge I've collected along the way, how to cartwheel. I will gladly share my stories and ideas any skills that i have that i cant think of right now.
I am open to all learning.
