About Me

Oioi! I'm an Architecture Student from Portugal with a passion for art and reading. I've had the opportunity to work in Norway and study in Sweden. Camping and hitchiking are my favorite things to do while traveling. Although I'm new to hitchhiking, I've explored Spain and Portugal and even hitchhiked solo from Lisbon to Milan! I'm eager to continue experiencing more of the world through this adventurous way of travel if possible!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to a wide range of genres, spanning from Rock from the 60s to 2020, Hip-hop from the 90s, Jazz, Reggae, 80s Funk, and Classical music. I'm a huge fan of King Crimson and Fontaines D.C., and ive been listening a lot to post-punk russian bands.

Movies: It's difficult to pinpoint my favorite movie, but I've watched the top 40 (plus some others, of course) of the 200 best movies of all time according to IMDB. A recent movie that has deeply inspired and moved me is "Into the Wild." It has sparked a desire in me to embark on a similar journey, albeit in Russia instead of Alaska (sadly, I wrote this before the war).

TV: I've delved into a plethora of series, and I mean A LOT! From adult swim TV series to all the major ones on the IMDB list, except perhaps "The Wire." Additionally, I'm a passionate anime enthusiast.

Books: I'm relatively new to reading, and most of the books I've read revolve around architecture, communism, or philosophy. Apart from these, I've also enjoyed reading some manga, with my all-time favorite being "Berserk."

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've completed the French route of the Camino de Santiago.
I've traveled from Lisbon to Seville by sea aboard the Portuguese UAM Creoula.
I've camped overnight at the summit of Pico Mountain (Portugal's tallest mountain) and in the Merzouga Desert in Morocco.
I've undertaken a fast for five and a half days.
I've hitchhiked from Lisbon to Milan in five days.

What I Can Share with Hosts
