Born in Senegal, raised mostly in Mali, Uganda and Kenya my upbringing solidified my love for travel, learning and engaging with other cultures.

What better way to experience a new city/town/country than staying with a local! I grew up with lots of open doors, I think couch surfing is a great extension of that sentiment.

Intereses

Both a hobbyist and full time professional photographer. It's truly my greatest passion followed swiftly by all things food. Growing up in such multi-cultural environments has afforded me that chance of trying some extraordinary foods - and in turn learning of similarities you might not expect. Fun fact, nems (Vietnamese imperial rolls) are a common street food in Senegal - I think you can guess why.

All things graphic novels. Love classic oldies in terms of movies, also love a great B horror. Music, I've really been digging regional African fusion rock from the 60s and 70s. Big fan of anything instrumental.
