HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to CS -- but I aim to travel Europe extensively with it in the coming months while I'm living in Barcelona. I'm happy to host, happy to travel, and grateful to borrow a couch whenever I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This is my first time using CouchSurfing, but I've backpacked and crashed at people's homes the old fashioned way. I've consistently found that travelers, no matter their backgrounds or persuasions, all have certain things in common. They're all adventurous, interesting, fun, and surprising individuals... and those are the people I most enjoy meeting. Now I'm taking it to the next level by becoming a CouchSurfer myself.

I love language -- whether it be my native English or just a few halting sentences in something more exotic. I will happily trade words and language lessons with people, native speakers or otherwise.

I know a bit about stargazing and astronomy, and I'm always happy to share that with people.

No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to make a trilled "R" sound. I'd love to learn how to do that.
