ABOUT ME

The things in life I love most is DJ-ing and snowboarding. I'm a member of the Utrecht based DJ-crew Turntabletrash (www.turntabletrash.com).
I'm one of the 3 founders of the Habek foundation (www.habek.nu) wich is a platform for urban culture. We organize party's, an anual festival (Roffest), we provide artist with studios to create their art, wheater it is music, painting, dancing or whatever you can see as art. We also provide artist with several ways of support. This could be production of their show / tour, tourmanagement, funding or what ever support they might need. Our closest partner right now is Kytopia.
Next to this job I do a lot of freelance jobs.
At this moment I'm tourmanager of the band la Boutique Fantastique (laboutiquefantastique.com). I used to be a backliner for Kyteman's Orchestra and I used to organize turntablebattles and championships

When I'm not working or playing music I like to enjoy all the beautifull things my city has to offer; party's, relaxing in the parks, taking walks trough my town, having nice diners...basicly just enjoying whatever good things life has to offer.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Sometimes I wanna go to places where I don't know anybody so I got to find other ways of staying there. In my line of work I meet a lot of people dealing with the same problems so I'm willing to help others out with a place to sleep

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Ulm once with some friends, I had to rock a party there and we had a blast! Last summer I went to Krakow and I met the best Cracovians you can find.

Interests

In my younger days I used to be a skateboarder/ snowboarder but since I wrecked my knees I just concentrate on my turntables when ever I get the time for it. I play a lot of hiphop, funk, soul, breakbeats and I love to scratch.

I love to go out and see and experience all kinds stuff: Art, music, festivals, architecture, history, nature, party's, museums etc...
