ABOUT ME

I am a very silly woman that finds direct honesty and a witty sense of humor absolutely refreshing! I work hard for what I want and I do everything I say I will do. I am very spontaneous and up for an outdoor adventure always. I live in the moment, laugh a lot, wake up to make most of my day and rarely make plans - unless it's a backpacking trip.

I just quit my job in April after living 4 years in beautiful downtown Portland, OR. I got fed up with the politics of corporate, hotel and mirco-management. I am now highly focused on building a career I am passionate about. I'm taking on the summer with a resourceful mindset to work to live and not live to work.

Interests

I am a total beer snob that also loves to go wine tasting. I love to go to lectures, or any type of performances/readings. I find the time to hike, snowshoe, rock climb/boulder, fish, play disc golf and escape the city often.

I haven't owned or watched tv or movies in about 6 years so I'm sort of out of the loop on the television/commercial thing. I'm awful to be around if your staple is quoting movie lines. Staying in and watching movies never sounds appealing to me, however, I do enjoy watching TED talks, current documentaries on politics, science, sociology, psychology, religion, and adventurous short films - although they kind of piss me off and make me think I haven't done anything cool even though I've had my share of interesting events. I'll sit and watch anything where laughter or conversation and deep thought is immediate.
