Hi there! I'm a 23-year-old Serbian-American living in Washington D.C., where I moved after completing my undergraduate degree for a job as an engineering analyst in government contracting.

One of my favorite things about travelling is discovering a new place and familiarizing myself with the geography via walking and public transportation (especially train systems). I also love playing water polo (I've been playing since I was 11) and have played at several clubs in the United States and Europe, so I always try to play whenever I visit a place with team(s) in the area. I'm an active person and enjoy outdoor activities and exploring nature.

I'm eager to meet new people, learn new things, try new foods, and have well-rounded experiences in general. I like to live by the motto "variety is the spice of life".

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always enjoyed travelling and have been fortunate in my life to have friends and family spread out across the Europe who have always been willing to host me and save my budget on housing. However, I love meeting new people and going from strangers to friends- combine these two and Couchsurfing seems like the obvious answer!

I find that hostels can be located in more touristic areas and while I have enjoyed staying in them and making friends there, sometimes a quieter residential area with more local hosts provides a more authentic experience of a place.

Lastly, I've heard good things from friends who've used the app and recommended that I give it a try. I'm looking forward to what Couchsurfing has to offer!

I am very well-mannered and clean, and I enjoy being of help around the house. I love to cook, especially for and with other people! I'm an active person and enjoy the outdoors- I make a great hiking / workout companion and will never shy away from a physical challenge. I also love trying new things and am happy to try any hobbies or activities you may enjoy. I'd be happy to help with errands- I'm 191cm/6'3" and 86kg/190lbs and can help with more physically demanding tasks around your home as well.
