ABOUT ME

I'm leaving for Hawaii in two days on Monday, August 15th!! :) Will be returning to Vermont on Sunday evening, August 21st.

Movies I like include Dark City, Hackers, The Lake House, Erin Brockovich, The Blind Side, The Ultimate Gift, Back to the Future, Pay It Forward, With Honors, Kung Fu Panda, Limitless, Tron Legacy and Green Lantern.

I like a wide variety of music. I like being introduced to new music also. I'm a fan of both uptempo and down tempo/relax/lounge music alike. I dislike most country and rap music. I don't really listen to classical either. Some examples of music I like include the likes of Chris Daughtry, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Ozzy, Kiss, Def Leppard, Robert Miles, Stereo Love (the song). I like to flip between radio stations in the car. I prefer techno/dance music when I'm trying to stay awake and want something more upbeat. I like Norah Jones when I want to relax/wind down for the day at home.

Books I like include The Tipping Point: How Little Things Can Make a Big Difference, Outliers: The Story of Success (would like to read more books by this author at some point, maybe at the tipping point, reference to his other book I read ;)

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I've fed a Tiger meat on a stick in Arizona and made him stand up for it ;) through a cage of course :) I've also seen the natural wonder of the Grand Canyon in that same trip in April of 2010.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I'm 100% American born and raised. I know my English and am happy to help with pronunciation, spelling, understanding, editing, etc.

I've also known how to make a balloon dog since I was in 2nd grade ;) I have a book on how to make other balloon animals. The dog is the easiest though :)

I'd like to learn French (I only took a class or two in middle school and only remember a few phrases). Other languages I'm interested in furthering my limited studies in include Spanish (some high school/college experience) and Japanese (I sat in on the beginning of a class in college). I'd like to learn how to play the guitar and also how to play pool better.
