About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission, is simply: To Travel. To meet new people, understand new cultures. See things differently than the way I have been seeing them for 23 years. Spontaneity is key for me, and it helps me thrive as a happy human being.

ABOUT ME

I am an aspiring writer, I hope to someday actually make a living by it. Being able to travel, and write are two of my favorite objectives in life. Music being the key that draws them together. I am a very spontaneous, and creative person. My aspirations in life include being a life-learner, and not taking anything for granted. I want to have some great stories to tell someday, and acquiring them through the hands-on approach is the only way I can see to do it!

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing ventured, Nothing gained.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I came to Minneapolis with two suitcases in my car after having traveled for a week from the East Coast. I came to stay for a few months. Was taken in by a Couch Surfer home, two lovely people by the names of Elise & Ian. They have four chickens in the backyard and a wonderful dog named Boogie. I came for a place to crash for the weekend, and I ended up staying here for a year. Now I'm a full on Minnesota resident and a place of my own. Wonderful experience.

Music, Movies, and Books

Films: I can kick it with almost anything as long as it has a good plot, recently got into classic/silent films!
Music: Folk/Bluegrass, classic rock, Indie, Seriously- Anything!
Books: F.Scott Fitzgerald-"Love of the Last Tycoon", Chuck Klosterman- "Fargo Rock City", anything by Poe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Driven cross country. - The entire experience was phenomenal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe that relying on someone else for happiness has got to be the scariest feeling in the world. Not until we find ourselves, and what makes our own lives content, should we seek happiness from other relationships.
