About Me
CURRENT MISSION
"The question isn't who is going to let me; it's who is going to stop me." -Ayn Rand
ABOUT ME
I am an open-minded, friendly person and really enjoy meeting all sorts of people! I have the best-of-friends and feel completely blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. I have the BEST of parents and two wildly perfect sisters.
I love people who have a PASSION for life and strive to surround myself with people who actually live. I am game to try anything at least once! I am a food junkie and thoroughly enjoy g.o.o.d. food. Nothing better than good food, good wine, good friends. I love being outside in the fresh air! Whether it's running, kayaking, hiking, I am down! It rains a lot in Seattle so when it's sunny I refuse to be inside!
I believe that traveling, especially alone, provides the best opportunity for personal and intellectual growth. There are so many different, unique places and people to see and meet! By getting out there and keeping an open mind, one can free herself of any predispositions and begin to understand the world in a direct, all-encompassing way.

GO NOW AND LIVE!
PHILOSOPHY
Quotes that inspire me:
"There is more to us than we know. If we can be made it see it, perhaps for the rest of our lives we will be unwilling to settle for less." -Kurt Hahn
“Why tell your grand kids you worked 9-5, five days a week for 40 years and quietly sat in traffic jams while people went to war, suffered disease and shot their own classmates? Tell them you refused to live in fear. Tell them you crossed the Amazon, saw the Lost Cities of Gold and met your soul mate in Casablanca. Travel to the ends of the earth. Go now and live adventures that will make your grand kids proud.”
"For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: 'If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am doing today?' And whenever the answer has been 'No' for too many days in a row, I know that I need to change something...almost everything-all external expectations, all pride, all fear of embarrassment or failure-these things just fall away in the face of death, leaving only what is truly important. Remembering that you are going to die is the best way I know to avoid the trap of thinking you have something to lose." -Steve Jobs
