I look forward to meeting new friends from many nations around the world and promote a better understanding of the value of life and promote family values and share the best life has to offer with new friends worldwide.

ABOUT ME

I'm 64 now and preparing for retirement next year. I have 3 beautiful children with 7 grandchildren who are the light of my life. Currently, I'm an airline manager working for American Airlines. I enjoy traveling for business and pleasure and enjoy having my family nearby. My goal is to travel to six new countries every year.

PHILOSOPHY

My philosphy is to respect one another and live gently in the world appreciating it's beauty. I learn from others and am interested in many things including history, art and the sciences.

My faith and my family are my greatest treasures and my friends have a special place in my heart.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I prefer meeting and hosting those close to my age and with similar interests. I am settled in my home and community and attend church weekly. I live quietly and comfortably and enjoy my freedom.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a new member of the Hospitality Club as well as CouchSurfers and look forward to meeting new friends and hosting others who visit Texas.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling far and wide to visit and make new friends and visit museums and exhibits. I enjoy cruising and go as often as possible to relax. My goal now is to travel and meet new friends as much as possible/

I love reading non-fiction and biographies and also enjoy all types of music. I am not a movie-goer since I think today's movies are too sensationalized and not worth seeing. I enjoy my time at home and with friends.

As part of the American Airlines family, the loss of so many of my friends and colleagues left a tragic impression on me. I will always remember standing on ground zero shortly after 9-11 and writing my name on the bill board wall with my deepest sympathy after the loss of so many wonderful friends and colleagues who never deserved to die in such as tragic way.

I look forward to meeting new friends thru this exchange. I've traveled and worked around the world and have a great career and profession in the travel industry. I do look to meet friends more my age in order to share life's experiences and help those who look to elder friends to mentor with on life and career.
