ABOUT ME

I traveled around Europe a bunch of years ago and couch surfing saved me so I'd like to be there for people if I can. I'm a teacher and a student at the same time. Pretty busy but summers are open.

PHILOSOPHY

Appreciate what you have.
I live life day to day making last minute decisions. I fly at the seat of my pants. And I know that happiness is the key to everything, so I'm looking for happiness while I know deep down it might just aswell be back at home.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As soon as I have a home, a place I call home at least I can't wait to show people around. I love meeting people and making people's stay's that much better. Putting one smile on someone's face can make all the difference and that come's through being nice.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I travel for snowboard trips I usually stay at friends couches. I think it's something people should always share, it's just there and open. Experiences in relation to couchsurfing though. I would have to say my best experience on this trip so far, which has been almost two months now was when I was down in the south of France and someone in the street invited me for coffee.
It's things like that, warmth and welcome that I appreciate most.

and lately, this might sound funny but I've been noticing the nature around me alot, so yes I'm interested in how in one area there are these trees and rocks and in another area, there are those trees and rocks etc etc. (An earth studies person down inside...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went surfing with a friend in the night when it was pitch black and watched the fireworks explode off of a boat in the ocean while everyone else was lined up on the beach.

Imagine catching a wave in darkness as it comes upon you, you have that split second to realize it's there and get on it and then turning your head back to see fireworks explode into the night's sky.
Truly unforgettable.

Teach, Learn, Share

Pack light. Lighter than you have.
Don't ever think too much about things they will weigh you down. Don't let them take up rent in your mind they aren't paying for it.
Share laughter. It is the best thing to share, of highest value without a price.
