About Me
Hello!
I am a student studying philosophy and comparative literature and am interested in traveling and meeting new people. I'm generally easy going, and am up for anything interesting. I'll be traveling around Europe for the next three weeks and would love to get a sense of what people are like here.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's hard to really get to know a place as a tourist. Making friends and knowing people are a huge benefit surfing provides.

Top five fave authors are probably Virginia Woolf, Haruki Murakami, Foucault, Heidegger, and David Foster Wallace
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went to Asheville, NC (great city in the Appalachian mountains) with a friend who was surfing. We ended up hanging out with his host, an older guy who had taken show photos for Bob Dylan, the Beatles, and a lot of local Asheville bands, who brought us to this awesome "full moon gathering" in a warehouse on the edge of town. Several local DJ's played sets and different performers had acts synced to the music. I was sick as hell but I still threw down and had a great time.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I know how to play the violin (and have one with me), I'll talk about pretty much everything, I know a lot about indie/alternative music, and I'm down to hang out if you are
