About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I enjoy meeting people fropm other parts of the world. Bishop is a small town in the eastern Sierras, but it is on the road to many places: Death Valley, Bristle Cone Forest, San Francisco, Reno to name a few.

ABOUT ME

I am a mother, my daughter is a freshman in college. I am a teacher, I love all types of people and feel the road for global understanding will stem from a grass roots understanding of each other. I like to hike, listen to music, cook and drink good wine with friends. I have a dog and 2 cats and they all sleep indoors at night. I am taking a night Spainsh class at the local college and working on ANNIE with our local Playhouse 395. and that's about all folks.

PHILOSOPHY

Make the world a better place by being in it

Interests

I love to read. My list of favorites would go one forever. My book club just finished Hummingbird's Daughter which was great. For pulp fiction I am now reading Laurie King. Janet Evanovich's Stephanie Plum books are an all time favorite. I am not very good with cyberspace (challeneged is how my daughter refers to my internet ability)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I turned 50 I was feeling my mortality, so I went to Nepal and hiked the Himalayas - only as far as Gokyo, but it made me appreciate who I am and where I live and opened up a new realm of spiritual understanding
