About Me

CURRENTLY

Finishing off my PhD while lecturing.

ABOUT ME

Like most people, I find these questions a bit hard to answer.

I would hope my friends would say I'm easy going, and I know they'd say I'm sarcastic. I like to think I have a good sense of humor, I was born with a healthy dose of humility, and I have a hard time taking anything to seriously.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Here to meet others with a passion for travelling.

Interests

I'm a avid traveller, so I'm pretty down to experience life any way it comes. As far as what makes my life engaging, I like to think it's my natural curiosity about everything. I embrace diversity, no matter how it comes, and I respect the opinions of others. That being said, I like to think we can all learn alot from each other. Even though we might not always agree with each other, a healthy debate goes a long way toward respecting each other as individuals. I know this is all a bit 'zen', but if the question is "what makes my life engaging", I'd say that I don't really see it as the world engaging with my life but as a constant effort on my part to engage the world around me.

My professional life is a bit biased toward business, so I tend to appreciate art and music as they are the traits I find myself most lacking. Specifically, I really like street art and graffiti. I also take deep pride in my iTunes library. Since I travel alot, and have to travel light, I try and "diversify" my music collection whenever possible. Chances are if you're from a different country than i am, and I've known you long enough to hear some of your music, I'll be pestering you to fill a flash drive up for me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm always up for something I haven't seen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I'll spare you my "dinner with the locals" stories, haha.

Honestly, picking just one moment is very hard to do. I've been traveling around fairly regularly over the past 10yrs, so picking just one moment would be disregarding so many other amazing experiences I've been privileged to have.

Every time I had long nights with friends or got to chill out on the beach and go for a swim, I thoroughly enjoyed those moments.
