ABOUT ME

I am living in Berlin at the moment, writing and eating up the energy. I love reading (Mervyn Peake, Janet Frame, Greil Marcus, Shaun Tan, Maurice Sendak, Robert Graves), wine, whisky, music. I longed to travel to Prague and see Tom Waits, so I did both in the same amazing city. Now I want to go to Copenhagen and lots of hot springs.

PHILOSOPHY

I feed myself with good food, wine, whisky, friends, landscapes, views, conversation and experiences.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Making my couch and backyard sleepout available to people passing through my fabulous, arty hometown of Melbourne.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Taking the band to Paekakariki, New Zealand and staying in Surry Hills, Sydney, with friends on a roadtrip where our radiator exploded 8 hours from our destination. Staying with ace people in Granada, Madrid, Burgos, Berlin, Glasgow, Brighton, London and Reykjavik.

I would like to learn folk songs from around the world. I read tarot. I have much good music from rock to ambient electro to bluegrass. I know something about Australian/NZ wine and Irish and Scotch Whisky. I have great research skills. I work in the music industry doing publicity, tours and management.
