About Me
Do the thing that makes the best story!
I've been very busy focusing on developing my skills within UX and Digital management/creativity but right now I'm feeling burnt out and need a break, need some adventure. So off I go.
I'm a positive, non-judgemental, funny, easy going and quick witted ( I work in bars I've gotta be quick off the mark with my chat ;) ).
I can recognise when you need your time to yourself and I've had many CS experiences so I'm pretty sure people would describe me as trust worthy and a good guest.
Sadly due to not having the money to rent a bigger place I can't host right now but soon, soooooon I'll be giving back all the CS love I have received. in the mean time I'm just helping folks I see in the city who appear lost :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
People are lovely!
Really, you really are. So why not share a little time with someone totally different, someone caring and open like yourself who may have a different way of thinking. I wanna hear it, I wanna hear what makes you tick and why you do what you do.
I'm NOT looking for a place to crash after a party.
I'm looking for a local that loves where they live and wouldn't mind sharing the odd anecdote about the area, and to show me something I would never have seen if I stayed at a hostel.
Interests
Drinking great cocktails, casual urban exploring, cycling, learning to code (Javascript), I also work at a start up dedicated to connecting book lovers together and I want to build a little side business onto that putting on fun literary themed cocktail nights.
I'm focused on finishing my masters degree right now so I've been investigating and reading a lot on 'Where good ideas come from' and learning a lot about business and innovation techniques. Which is actually a lot more fun than I make it out to be.
I also really dig walking along canals imagining how wonderful it would be to have my own house boat.
Oh and during my time at my masters degree school I filmed a few seconds every day, so I guess you'd say I'm interested in mini-documentary making. :D

Music, Movies, and Books
Radio 6 music is always on for me, not been to a gig in a long time but I'd be interested to hear what you really love!
My favourite movie is The Fall, I also did really enjoy the sneakiness of Gone Girl and I always will have a soft spot for Stargate.
Books books books!!! Well Right now I'm reading more non fiction for the sake of my thesis - about business, about disruption, about leadership.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hitch hiked the Santiago Compostella, so very very far out of my comfort zone but wonderful.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Well a lovely hello in the morning, some nice casual chat and genuine enthusiasm about the place I'm staying.
And my mum said I should buy you all treats from England if I stay with you so I think I'm gonna do that!
