ABOUT ME

My name is Melanie, I'm 28, and currently live in Denver, CO. I play guitar and sing in a band called Tyto Alba. I also do freelance design work, make woodburnings, and tattoo for my profession. I was raised in Boulder, CO, but have done a lot of traveling around the USA, as well as visited places like Italy, Japan, Costa Rica, and Canada. I have two dogs and two guinea pigs and am a huge animal lover in general. I tour regularly with my band and I'm so grateful towards the Couchsurfing community for hosting the four of us. We love exchanging stories, drinks and hugs.

I have mostly just surfed, but would love to have the opportunity to host people in the future. I've met some amazing people through CS and really appreciate the level of trust that happens through this program.

I have eaten live Oysters on the beaches of Vancouver Island and gone backpacking in the jungles of Costa Rica. I also toured 6,000 miles in 30 days with my old college band.
