Hey y'all!

My name is Max and I currently live in Toronto, Canada. I am a travel agent at EF Education First who is (obviously) obsessed with travels!

Throughout my life I lived in Russia (Moscow), USA (Arisona and Maine) and Canada.
I was introduced to Couchsurfing back in 2014 when I first traveled to the US. Though CS I was able to make tons of life-long friends, I learned a lot about the local culture, got some great tips and pacticed my English.
This platform helped me a lot as I was able to afford to see the world, to learn things I oherwice could not have learned if I'd stayed in a hotel and most importantly to meet new people!

As of now I can say that I have been to 37 states. Hopefully will be able to cover all 50 sometime this year!

I usually try to travel every couple of months, whether it is somewhere in the US or across the ocean!

As far as concerned my personality, I would describe myself as an extremely active and outgoing person, who can not sit in one place and is always looking for something new. I like meeting new people from all over the world, talking about our countries, traditions, share experience and stories. For me Couchsurfing is the best way to meet people that are in love with travels.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

As an exchange student in the USA I was looking for a good opportunity to afford travels, make friends and learn about the custure of the places I was going to visit.

Intereses

Learning languages (English, Spanish, Chinese, Portuguese), photographing, traveling, cycling, making new friends and connections.... and traveling. Obvously!

On my 20-th Birthday I skydived in Arizona, just above the Glen Canyon Dam and landed on a big bush in the middle of the desert.
I Couchesurfed though the United States for one month straight. I consider it as my greatest travel achievement!
I drove to 15 states several months after getting my drivers licence.

I always learn something new from a person I meet, I am a great listener and I truly enjoy listening to all kinds of stories, especially related to travels. CS is a great way to learn about a culture of a country\city you're in by having a chance to interact with locals. I also enjoy sharing details about my country and its culture and breaking stereotypes. I might also want to help you with your language learning, for example practice your Russian and English.
