About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see the world and embrace everything is has to offer

ABOUT ME

I don't think I am your typical 25yr old guy (without sounding like i have a big head haha). I guess I have gone through some lifechanging experiences as a kid that has really opened my eyes to a different perspective on life.(see Amazing thing seen/done for more on that)Though, that doesn't mean I don't like to do typical 25yr old things, such as drinking alcohol and listening to loud music.I have a very loud in colour full sleeve tattoo that i am very proud of, it is certainly the most pretty thing on my body haha.I really enjoy working with children. I really think it is one of the most rewarding things in the world. I guess this would explain why I love being a Summer camp counsellor. Hmm, what else can be said about me, by me. Generally I think I am quite likable and easily approachable. Decent sense of humour and always down for a chat.

PHILOSOPHY

Personal philosophy? Right now, it is to have as much fun and do as much as I can before I am too old to experience it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I guess I am not yet over my CS nerves yet and have been a little hesitant in a sense. It really is silly and I have sworn to myself that after Serbia I will do my best to be more involved and try and couchsurf as much as possible. I also plan to attend as many meetings and events in Sydney when I return home as physically possible

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Robert and Amanda - Bucharest
Marion - Plovdiv
Farhad - Istanbul
Baggelis - Thessaloniki
Roberto - Pristina

Although my experience so far is a little limited, I have enjoyed EVERY single second of it.
From cooking Czech Garlic soup in Romania, to partying the night away in Kosovo on New Years Eve.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: back to the future, the castle, clerks 2..lots of comedy, action and the odd horror!

I listen to a lot of pop punk, rock, met al, dubstep and some odd hip hop/rap thrown in. All in all I will give anything a go and if my ears enjoy it I'll play it often!

Books: I really enjoy crime novels. Kathy Reichs, Patricia Cornwell to name a couple of authors I enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing i have seen is my mother. It may sound corny, but she managed to raise four kids (one of whom was mentally ill and commited suicide), put herself through university and pass with flying colours, work a job to pay all the bills and buy food for us to eat, all as a single parent.
She is my absolute hero and I certainly wouldn't be the person I am today if it wasn't for her!!

Countries I’ve Visited

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Monaco, Montenegro, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom, United States
