ABOUT ME
A little about Mao:
This profile used to be just mine....but now we travel as a pair!
I make little macarons for a living and I taught English in Japan for three years. My goal is to travel around the world slowly but surely. Going with the flow and making most of life.
Love trying new things especially food!
I love baking, beaches, hiking, diving, cooking, teaching, photography, reading, laughing, movies, and above all....traveling.
Kyle:
I grew up in the Pacific Northwest where my life has been defined by sports, the outdoors, food and drinks. I am pretty good at every sport except for ping pong. Love snowboarding, hiking, diving and exploring. When it comes to food I believe in trying everything at least twice, and I enjoy drinking and have been known to wiggle and jiggle a bit after a few drinks. Always up for learning new drinking games.
Other than that, I'm pretty much a nerd at heart. I develop firmware at a tech company and enjoy writing efficient algorithms. I absolutely loved Star Wars growing up (still do), and recently learned that I have a weird fascination for dragons. Did I mention I was a mathlete when I was 12?
I believe at every stage in life, that I should be improving some aspect of my life. Never standing still.
PHILOSOPHY
Drink, eat and dance. Enjoy your life and treat yourself well.

Making things, I am pretty crafty. Planning out the next trips....though most of them are pure dreams. I recently started photography. So I might be taking pictures of you!

Music, Movies, and Books
Totoro and Pixar. LonelyPlanet books. Haha. Music. Anything I can dance to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Eating fresh mangosteen behind a tuk tuk throughout Bangkok. Tokyo at New Years Eve. 2008 Winter Olympics in Vancouver. Sneaking into the British Virgin Islands via my Grandmother's sailboat. Angkor Wat with wild monkeys running around. 6:00 AM Pho in Vietnam. Private waterfall in Laos. Surfing in Ixtapa. Eating the freshest sushi ever at 5:00AM in Tsukiji Fish Market. Standing in the middle of no where in Mongolia. Walking aimlessly in Seoul. Diving with whale sharks in Okinawa. Staying up all night for White Night in Melbs. Tramping in the forests of NZ while singing the only LOTR song we know. Walking around the ruins in Turkey. Ship wreck diving in Malaysia. Rice fields in Bali.
