The ultimate question: to figure out what I want out of my life. My current mission is changing on a continuous basis and I am ok with that!!

ABOUT ME

About me.... well I was born in Salinas, California. Most people have no idea where it's located so I usually say an hour and a half south of San Francisco and I get an "ohh." I decided my senior year of high school that I wanted to get out of California and study somewhere new. So currently I am studying at the University of Oregon in Eugene,Oregon.I am double majoring in Advertising and Spanish. I love change, I find it somewhat adventurous because you really don't know what's going to happen. Deciding to study out-of-state was one of the best decisions I ever made.

For the most part I am a very easy going person and I am pretty open-minded to try anything new. Sometimes I can be too nice because I don't know how to say "no" to people. I am trying to work on that by taking baby steps. I absolutely love to laugh and I think it's probably life's greatest cure for anything. I love sports, especially baseball. I am a huge San Francisco Giants fan. Any type of Mexican food will grab my attention and if you can make great Mexican food you practically become my best friend! I really don't know what else to say about myself. I am very bad at these types of things. All I can say is you will have to meet me for yourself, but you won't regret it!

PHILOSOPHY

At a very young age I learned that unfortunately we only have one life and it MUST be lived out to the fullest. I don't want to wake up one morning and wonder, "what have I been doing all this time; why have I wasted all my time not doing anything?" I believe if I can live by this one motto of mine I will die a happy woman :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am just traveling and do not have a couch, but as soon as I get situated back at home I would love to have people couch surf at my place.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't couchsurfed yet. I have many friends who have tried it and recommended it too me. So I am just beginning my couchsurfing journey and hope people can make it memorable for me.

Interests

Listening to music, going on random trips to the supermarket to fulfill my sweet tooth, watching/talking about sports, late night movie sessions, shopping ( I would be lying if I didn't put this down), going to the beach, hikes, girl-talk, and reading a good book occasionally

Movies: too many, but I do enjoy most Pedro Almodovar movies! And I hate scary movies.
Books: Como agua para Chocolate, sadly I enjoy the Harry Potter books, The Great Gatsby, and there are too many to lists

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Deciding to studying abroad and see the world is probably the most amazing thing I have done by far in my lifetime.

I would like couchsurfing to give me the opportunity to be cultured and open-minded to different views of the world, society's, and people. And I hope that I too can do the same for people. Give them an insight on what it is like to be an American college student, a Californian, or a Mexican-American.
