ABOUT ME

All??? There's not enough room! Besides, what would we talk about when we meet?

While work was/ is slow, I was blessed with taking some time off from my career. Rather than waste energy searching for something that didn't exist, I chose to travel, to meet other people, and experience different places and cultures. I went to Africa and while sometimes frustrating, I had a wonderful time. If you ask me why I chose to go there, I cannot cite any one specific reason...there are many! At first I was skeptical of my decision but upon talking with friends who've been here, my fears were somewhat eased. I was not dissappointed!

I enjoy all things outdoors. I've been a lot of places in the states but I love the Rocky Mountains and unless something really special happens, I hope to never leave them in this life! (except to travel) They are a welcome sight to return home to.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've stayed at Hostels in the past and always had a great time meeting different people from around the world. My preferred travel method is to stay in one place for at least a few days to a week and really get to know the place and people. (as much as one can in only a week)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Even though I've been a member for a few years I still consider myself new to the CS community. I heard about it from a friend, checked out the site and thought it would be a great idea to extend my experience with the local culture where ever I am traveling. I've only hosted a couple times and finally surfed a few times during my recent travels. I had a wonderful time meeting locals as well as other travelers around the globe.

Will listen to almost anything but not a fan of 80's pop! I read a lot of photography and architecture magazines, not much time for anything else at the moment.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

It depends on your definition of amazing. I've seen and done a lot. One that currently comes to mind is being an active member of our local search and rescue team. We are a small group of volunteers who come together to help others in need. I can't explain why I do it but being a part of it has been really special to me....
