I'm a freelance model maker, stop-motion animator living in Lancashire with my fiancee. Brought up to be like the "nice guy that's hard to find" I'm normally a quite individual, unless you happen to enjoy the nerdy things in life, not into sports or soap TV, but stick on a decent series like American Horror Story and I'm happy to get involved.

I have many friends in the Animation industry, mostly stop-motion people but I try to mingle with other animators.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trying to find work in or around Film and Animation without breaking the bank and conserve my dwindling funds, I've waited a long time to find a job that not only allows me to use my degree in animation. Any opportunity that arises for me I will move heaven and earth to make sure I keep this position!

Interests

mostly drawing or sketching ideas for stop-motion creatures, armature designs and concepts but when I'm home its a mix of model making, crafting or just walking around woodlands and Manchester.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music- mostly metal and rock, but I'm pretty much open to anything as long as its something I can tap my foot to.

Films- All Harryhausen films, sci-fi, horror, fantasy based, oh and animated films of course.

Books- Not a huge lover of book on the count of my dyslexia hinders me so, but I do like to read subjects of interest to me, Tony Dalton's Harryhausen books are very informative to me.

Met Ray Harryhausen 5 times, the 5th time was at his London home before he passed away a year later!
