Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Last year I couchsurfed to an apartment. I was new in the town and I was looking for a room, they were looking for a roommate, so perfect combination. Now I'm living here since then.

Watching movies, reading books and newspaper and sometimes cartoons, politics, travelling, spending time and going out with the friends and sometimes just thinking...

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favourite directors are: Godard, Fellini, Antonioni, Pasolini, Bergman, Truffaut, Hitchcock, Dreyer, Vigo, Resnais, Ozu, Angelopoulos, Yılmaz Guney... No need to continue I think, you've already understood, I guess. Yes, I like those boring movies. But I have to say from all of them my favourite director -it's a personal thing- is Zeki Demirkubuz... If you don't know him, just google him...

Music I think, depending on my mood I listen all kinds of music. From turkish folk music to turkish art music or arabesque, from balcan music to rock, from jazz to classical music...

And books... if it is intended novels I like more turkish and russian literature. but I also like to read books about cinema and philosophy even if mostly I don't understand anything about the latter.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Turkish or Italian. I can show you how to cook some dishes from turkish or italian cuisine. I would also like to learn how to cook your dishes. we can watch a movie and later discuss about it.
