ABOUT ME

I live just outside of Charlottesville VA where I run my own home inspection business. I am originally from Michigan and moved here after 6 years of being an officer in the military. I couldn't go back to Michigan it's to COLD!
I love it here there is so much to do!

My philosophy is seeing everything I can see and living life to the fullest because we only get one of them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

A friend told me about CS and I thought it was a brilliant idea. I love to travel but the expense of lodging stops me most of the time. So this is a great way to travel and I've opened up my home for travelers.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all music but techno and heavy metal. I love science fiction movies and historical fiction books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I've ever done is play Buzkashi in Afghanistan with Afghanis. I was amazed they asked me to play since I'm a woman. It's an ancient game played on horse back with a dead goat. It was designed to teach soldiers how to pick up the dead weight of their comrades in battle.

If I could teach people anything it would be to strive for what you want in life, lifes to short to settle for anything less than your dreams.
I would love to learn how to rock climb!
