I'm laid back and down to earth and love to be outdoors and in nature. I value people and experiences more than material belongings. I really love dogs. I work remotely and travel a lot. I'm sort of an introvert but at times with the right company I become an extrovert.

When I'm not traveling I live in the Seattle area. I moved there in 2011 after having lived in the Northeast USA my whole life. Lately I have been giving some thought to moving outside of the country. The US has been evolving into something I cannot abide with.

As a guest I'm respectful, considerate and low-impact. I try to be helpful where I can as well.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe in a world where we support and empower each other, not tear each other down. That's part of why I'm here on couchsurfing. Lets help each other travel affordably and spend less time working and more time living. Also I sometimes do some long road trips by myself and would like to find places to stay as well as make some friends along the way.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I backpacked across the Grand Canyon and hiked all the 4000 footers of the White Mountains of NH. Recently I did a 4000 mile drive deep into Mexico.
