ABOUT ME

I grew up in Texas- but hate telling people that because they always think of cowboy hats and horses. I left Texas more than fifteen years ago and have spent nine of those years outside the U.S. I have found that the more people I meet from the far reaches of this globe the more I realize that we are fundamentally all the same. We have the same basic needs and desires. We are all Human... The rest of what makes us up is what makes us the individual we are. It is a unique combination of our culture, societal/family values, friendships, and our own experiences which makes us special. It is those differences which we should celebrate- The reason I like meeting new people and learning their stories.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While living in Korea I Hosted sixteen people and joined in a couple CS functions with the Seoul group.While living in Japan, I Co-hosted ten people and attended various local functions.While traveling Corina and I met and were hosted by amazing adventurers who shared their couches and friendship with us.CS is a great way to meet people from around the world- nothing but awesome experiences so far...

Anything outdoorsy...cycling, kayaking, scuba diving, hiking, camping, rock climbing, caving....if you can't find me then it is certain I am off doing one of these things (or maybe sleeping to regain my energy afterward)
