About Me
Finally back home after several years spent living in Central and South America and on the coast.
I love to travel and live in different places, speak new languages, wander and get lost in the world's remote corners, and meet new people.
Generally speaking, I work in agriculture and farming, and environmental issues are my passion. But I'm also very interested in politics and activism and I try to keep up with what's going on in the world as much as possible.
At the moment I work as a carpenter in St. Louis, trying to save up some money to start a CSA farm.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
As someone who has slept on a fair number of couches in his day, I think it's wonderful to have a website that brings all of us wanderers together.
Interests
Books, mostly fiction;
Music, especially old time American music -- blues, rock and roll, country western, bluegrass, etc.
Running, jogging, biking, frisbee;
Cooking (fresh from the farm!), and especially baking! Crazy new kitchen experiments keep me entertained.
