About Me
Well I grew up in a small town where you either get out as soon as possible, or you buy a Volvo 240 and join the legion of Eddie Medusa lovin' raggers, burning rubber outside the local ICA supermarket.
Luckily for me I left...
Every since I was very young I have had a burning interest for electronics, computers, and video games, etc. Around the age of 14 I took up HTML programming, which later expanded into other languages. This interest for computers and programming defined my future quite early, I knew that this is what I eventually wanted to work with. Having this figured out I stated to study Computer Science at LTH in Lund. I graduated in 2010 and started to work for the University on a project collaboration with Sony Ericsson. 9 months passed and I felt that my part in this project was over, it was time to move on. I went on a one and a half year journey to Asia where I traveled around for a while and ended up teaching English in a kindergarten in China. Returned to Sweden in 2013, found a well paid and stimulating job working as a web developer for a small consultant company in Lund. Doing that for a while was great fun but my feet started to itch again so I headed out on another adventure, hiking the Pacific Crest Trail i USA. I ended up hiking about 1100 km of the trail, meet an amazing girl with which I left the trail to go on other adventure. Our path eventually had to part and I had to return to Sweden. Which puts us in the present day where I'm once again back in home base: Lund, wondering where life will take me next...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Its a way to travel without traveling, an amazing platform to meet funny and weird people from all of the world.
Interests
Besides hiking I spend a fair amount of time in the kitchen since you know... cooking is awesome! And I'll wipe you up some Swedish specialties! I'v been dumpster diving for the past five years and have a passion for being creative with what I find.
I prefer listening to music to watching TV and I'm somewhat of a retro-geek, love old school 8/16 bit graphics and music. Besides that I'm mostly into Jazz, and Electro. Recently discovered the Electro-Swing genre, epic!
I'm also a board game nerd and I love to have a cold beer in the sun over a game of backgammon.
