ABOUT ME

I'm Phil and I was born in Berlin. I have lived in Munich for over a year and worked for a major tour operator. I have finished my studies in 2016 after three years in Salzburg and am currently working for a leading company in the Experience Economy. Our mission is to bring play into people's lives and we are on track to change the world through it :)

Traveling has always been a great pleasure for me and I am always keen to get to know new people and new cultures. I have met so many amazing people during my travels all around Europe, the US, Canada, New Zealand, Africa and many other destinations, and I can't get enough of it!
Watch out around me, I might infect you with the travel bug ;-)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surf whenever I am able to and host people wherever I am living at the time.

NOTE: If your profile is not filled out completely, or if you send me a request as a message, don't be surprised if I don't want to host you.
Additionally, I don't host anonymous people, so if there are more people in your group, ask everyone to make a full CS profile!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted several people in Munich and Salzburg and went surfing in many places. Entirely awesome experiences. Am planning to participate more in local CS events.

I have hosted people from all over the world, for example from:
Germany, Canada, USA, France, Italy, Mexico, Spain, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, Chile, South Africa and many more!
I have surfed in many different places:
Geneva, Rome, Hawaii, Seychelles, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Los Angeles, San Antonio, México, Serbia , Kenya, Tanzania

Algo increíble que he hecho

Went snorkeling in a secluded bay in the Seychelles and rode in a helicopter in Hawaii.
Spent over half a year in Mexico and Colombia. Fascinated by Latin America! Looking for ways to go back.
Did a snorkeling trip in Belize and petted a shark. Saw an almost extinct Manatee when snorkeling.
Went to Abu Dhabi for five weeks through December on a project and survived with my sanity still intact... but only just :D
Have lived a few days in the life of a student with arcane abilities, a pirate chasing the treasure across the Baltic Sea, and lived the life of a British noble in 1917 through the medium of live action role play.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I can help people improve their German or English language skills, help them out with various technical issues, advise on important topics to them and new travel destinations.

In return, as I am currently learning Spanish and Arabic, I would love to acquire some more knowledge in these languages.
