ABOUT ME

I am Ralph von Muehldorfer (55 years of age) from Dresden in Germany. I am suffering from MS for more than 30 years now. Even I need a wheel chair. I managed to arrange myself with this defect and need almost no assistance. I am travelling by my self by car, because I can still drive a car safely.

2011 I traveled 5 month by car 18.000 miles once around the US. This was the biggest adventure in my life.

2012 I stood 3 month in Thailand, mostly in Bangkok and Hua Hin. But there was no suitable CS available so I stood a very nice hotels.

Staying in Hotels all the time is unamusing and secluded. I prefer to meet people in foreign countries.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is amazing that so many people open their homes to a stranger like me. 5 month travelling once around the US I stood at more than 30 CS hosts. The most amazing was, that we are the same level of education, hopes, needs and fears. We raised our children, own a home, have the same tasks of maintenance all day and take care of our belongings or businesses exactly the same way - and we are fighting daily with a lot of bureaucracy. I felt home at every one of my hosts immediately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The birth of my daughters and their growing up to handsome, pleasant and well educated young ladies.
I am very proud of them! My elder one, Valeska (23), achieved 2011 her bachelor´s degree. She is world travelling for 12 month now. My younger one, Saskia (17), is attending high school for one year in Vancouver, BC.
