ABOUT ME

I've loved traveling for as long as I can remember, and am starting the biggest adventure I've had yet. I just graduated from college, and am moving to Valladolid, Spain to teach English.

I love food, especially cooking but also eating anything, everywhere. Getting to know the food of each place I visit is one of the most important parts of any trip I take, and I love to share my love of food with others.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Meeting wonderful new people, in wonderful new places!! I've surfed and gone to a couple of CS events, but have never been in a position to host yet. Hoping I can soon!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed a couple of times, always with great results. I currently live with two roommates and we don't have a couch available, but I'm always willing to meet new people!

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: way too many to list...but right now i'm enjoying Stieg Larsson's series about Lisbeth Salander, and I love Neil Gaiman, George R. R. Martin, and Art Spiegelman, among many others. I'm really enjoying the chance to read in my free time this year, which I haven't done this much since high school.

Music: Generally indie stuff, but I'll give anything a listen. Don't tend to like Rap or Hip-hop, but there are exceptions.

Movies: One of my favorite things. I love almost all kinds, and think that spending an afternoon at the movie theater is one of the nicest ways to pass the time.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking is a huge passion for me, as you've surely already noticed, and I really enjoy sharing it with others, either by preparing food for them or by teaching them to prepare it themselves. I'd love to share this with the people I meet through CS!
